Daniel Lipstein, a Mendoza native, has worked in Mendoza’s hotel industry since 2001, with a specialty in managing the numerous purchasing needs for pre-opening luxury hotels in the region. He worked as Purchasing Manager for the Park Hyatt Mendoza from 2001-2006 and General Manager for Hotel Uspallata from 2006-2010, he then joined Hotel Intercontinental to oversee purchasing for their new hotel and casino. In 2012, he joined The Vines of Mendoza and puts his vast experience to good use by managing all purchasing needs for the winery, vineyard, Tasting Room, and The Vines Resort & Spa including Siete Fuegos Restaurant and Asados.
Question 1: If you had to drink one wine for the rest of your life, what would it be?
The best wine in my opinion is Quimera from Achaval Ferrer. It’s simply something incredible.
Question 2: What is your best Recuerdo with The Vines?
My best memory was the first time I went to our vineyard, which we call the finca. I wasn’t a part of The Vines team yet, but at that moment, meeting the staff, I realized that it was something I wanted to be a part of – for many years.
