Near bodegas Lurton and Clos de los Siete, this picturesque roadside restaurant specializes in all things pork. From the sausages and the cured meats to the eggplant in escabeche and the bread, everything at La Posada del Jamon is carefully prepared in house. Famous for Argentine staples such as queso de chancho (head cheese) and morcilla (blood sausage), the Posada also offers lighter dishes, including excellent pork tenderloin with homemade applesauce. The mixed pork tabla, with a variety of sausages and cold cuts, is another great option. If you really want to relax between bodegas, try eating on the outdoor patio while you take in the mountain breezes and nearby apple orchards that surround this inexpensive, family-owned restaurant.
