Description

A descendant of one of Argentina's most prominent winemaking families, Carlos Pulenta made his name as the president of the Salentein winery. In 2003, Pulenta ventured out on his own to create a cutting-edge winery that uses every technological advancement available to produce wines of exceptional quality.

The tour of this bodega is one of the local favorites. Tours take you through the entire wine making process, from the fermentation vats to the underground aging cellars and sleek tasting rooms. The highlight of the tour is Pulenta's 20 x 10 meter 'Homage to the Soil,' a cross section of Mendoza's desert-dry rocky dirt, gives visitors an appreciation of the terroir of the Mendoza wine region.

Situated within a complex of four modern adobe structures, the winery also offers high-end lodging and a world-class French restaurant with views of the surrounding vineyards.
