Description

In 2004, wine expert Robert Parker raved that 'Bodega Weinert is producing South America's greatest red wines,' and wine lovers throughout the world began to take notice of this traditional Argentine winery.

Founded by the Otero family in 1890, abandoned in 1920, and later acquired and restored by Bernardo C. Weinert, this bodega's world-class wines embody a signature blend of traditional and modern production methods. One of the only Mendoza wineries to use costly French oak toneles (500 liter barrels) for aging, Weinert is known for wines with aromatic bouquet and rich complexity.

The bodega's underground wine cellars, a tour highlight, maintain the winery's original Spanish colonial architecture (apart from a new addition in 1979) and house a stellar collection of Argentine wines.
